{"id":1120,"date":"2011-01-28T03:38:15","date_gmt":"2011-01-28T03:38:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/?p=1120"},"modified":"2011-02-01T04:01:32","modified_gmt":"2011-02-01T04:01:32","slug":"reed-loves-ali","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/2011\/01\/reed-loves-ali\/","title":{"rendered":"Reed LOVES Ali"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was very nervous about how Reed would respond to Ali.\u00a0 He is so young and really couldn&#8217;t understand that he was about to have a little sister.\u00a0 We did all the usual things to try to prepare him, but he just didn&#8217;t get it.\u00a0 Also, since he is the first grandbaby on both sides of our family he is SUPER spoiled.\u00a0 As much as I have tried to prevent this, it is inevitable.\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t help that he has a personality so big it can hardly fit in his tiny little body.\u00a0 Long story short, the last few weeks of my pregnancy I was more and more concerned about how he would treat her and us after she was born.\u00a0 All of that worry was unnecessary!<\/p>\n<p>He has been SO sweet with her since the moment he saw her.\u00a0 From the first time he met her he has been calling her &#8216;Ali&#8217; (we have got to get that on video.\u00a0 He sounds so sweet when he says her name).\u00a0 Anytime she cries he says &#8216;Ali cwry?&#8217; (Another one we have to get on video).\u00a0 He loves her so much and just wants to hug and kiss her all the time.\u00a0 When he walks in the house from school the first thing he asks for is Ali.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2011\/01\/IMG_0069.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1161\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2011\/01\/IMG_0069-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2011\/01\/IMG_0069-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2011\/01\/IMG_0069-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2011\/01\/IMG_0069.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Randy took a picture of Reed at school the other day of him covering up a doll with a blanket.\u00a0 His teachers said that he is so gentle and sweet with the dolls.\u00a0 He either calls them &#8216;baby&#8217;
