Reed has a new favorite word.\u00a0 ‘Pretty girl’<\/p>\n
I’m sure this is sort of my fault because that’s what I call Alison.\u00a0 Reed is my ‘good boy’ and Ali is my ‘pretty girl’.\u00a0 He has taken it to a new level though.<\/p>\n
Last Saturday we were flipping channels.\u00a0 Randy stopped on CMT and a Sugarland video was playing with the girl in a bikini.\u00a0 Reed stopped dead in his tracks and stared.\u00a0 In a zombie voice he said ‘pretty girl’.\u00a0 If she wasn’t on the screen for a second he got all upset and kept repeating, ‘pretty girl, pretty GIRL, PRETTY GIRL’.\u00a0 Then she came back and he was ok.\u00a0 When the song ended mayhem ensued.\u00a0 We kept flipping the channels looking for a pretty girl.\u00a0 Then I tried to distract him with baseball (which always works).\u00a0 Not this time.\u00a0 Finally a Carrie Underwood song came on and he was happy.<\/p>\n
Fast forward a few days.\u00a0 We were playing in the front yard and Megan was playing outside.\u00a0 She is a middle school girl who lives across the street from us.\u00a0 Reed went into zombie mode again.\u00a0 He stood next to me and zombie voiced ‘pretty girl’.\u00a0 It is hilarious because he stands totally still, but points his fat finger while he says it.\u00a0 Megan came over to see Ali and Mr. Pretty Girl hid behind my leg.\u00a0 He was acting so shy and silly around her…like a middle schooler.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Who is this kid??\u00a0 It is NOT time for this boygirl nonsense yet!!!<\/p>\n
