I want to write this down because Sunday was a great day.\u00a0\u00a0I especially need to remember this great day in light of my last post.<\/p>\n
A cool front has finally arrived in San Antonio.\u00a0 I woke up to 59 degrees.\u00a0 So I made coffee and took the kids outside to play before church.\u00a0 We were going to a different church and the service wasn’t until 11 so we got to relax a bit.\u00a0 (I actually had time to paint my toe nails!!)<\/p>\n
We went to church with all of Randy’s family because the church his dad was raised in was closing its doors.\u00a0 It was sad, but happy too.\u00a0 Really nice to be with family too.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After church we went to lunch for Papa B’s birthday.\u00a0 The kids were crazy, but fun.\u00a0 I had a great time at lunch and just enjoyed spending time together.<\/p>\n
We got home from MUCH later than usual (after 2:30).\u00a0 Luckily Reed and Alison took naps so Randy was able to take one too.\u00a0 Ali woke up and she and I played together for over an hour, just the two of us.\u00a0 We were watching football, playing, smelling my favorite autumn leaves candle and just enjoying each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When Reed and Randy woke up from lengthy and very needed naps we took a walk as a family.\u00a0 It was fantastic weather!!\u00a0 For the first time since March we were able to take a walk without pouring sweat.\u00a0 Reed was having a great time and Ali was just smiling up a storm.\u00a0 We went inside for bathtime.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After bath when it gets dark Reed loves to go outside on the front lawn to look at the moon and stars.\u00a0 We sit on the grass and sing the moon song and twinkle, twinkle.\u00a0 This is quickly becoming one of my favorite rituals that we do.\u00a0 He gets an extra boost of energy after bathtime and is always a blobbermouth when we go outside at night.\u00a0 He wants to hug and kiss Ali endlessly.\u00a0 After our evening singing and talking we\u00a0went inside and he was ready for bed.\u00a0 Randy put Reed to bed and I fed Alison and put her to bed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
All in all, the perfect Sunday.\u00a0 And icing on the cake is that I have been on my diet for 10 days and have lost 14 pounds.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for small favors!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
