\"IMG_0015\"<\/a>Oh Jake. \u00a0I’m trying so hard to not let all the ‘baby’ milestones pass by without me noticing or writing them down. \u00a0It’s hard to juggle all 3 of you. \u00a0It’s hard to make sure I notice everything. \u00a0But I’m going to keep trying. \u00a0I promise!!<\/p>\n

I wasn’t able to take you for your 4 month appointment on time because you have been sick. \u00a0Really sick. \u00a0You turned 4 months while we were on vacation in Colorado. \u00a0You picked up some sort of virus that caused you to have trouble breathing. \u00a0So you are on breathing treatments. \u00a0All.The.Time. \u00a0But you are slowly getting better. \u00a0Hooray!!<\/p>\n

I do know that at 4 months you weighed 15 pounds, 7 ounces. \u00a0You are totally out of 3 months clothes and are most comfortable in 9 month clothes. \u00a0(Not sure how you skipped over 6 month!) \u00a0Your little waist is not so little. \u00a0Size 2 diapers are having trouble fitting around your think waist. \u00a0It’s awesome.<\/p>\n

4 days before your 4 month birthday we gave you a taste of rice cereal. \u00a0Your little belly was growling even right after I fed you (and I know for a fact I am giving you plenty of milk). \u00a0So we tried cereal. \u00a0And you ate it with gusto! \u00a0No trouble with the spoon. \u00a0No trouble with the taste. \u00a0Obviously you were ready for it. \u00a0Now you are eating about a tablespoon of cereal for lunch everyday. \u00a0It has helped A LOT! \u00a0As Rosario says (your caregiver) ‘Now Jake is really going to get fluffy’. \u00a0Yes my sweet boy, you are getting fluffy!<\/p>\n

Anytime I put you down on your back you immediately flip to your belly. \u00a0It’s as though you love that trick, but then you get immediately pissed if that puts you in a corner where you can’t see out. \u00a0You love to watch tv from the couch and you love to look around. \u00a0But if all you can see is the couch or the bed, you get mad. \u00a0Fast. \u00a0Just this weekend you started moving your booty like you want to get on your knees and crawl. \u00a0Whoa Nelly. \u00a0We will not have any of that just yet. \u00a0No crawling. \u00a0You can’t even sit up yet.<\/p>\n

Your brother and sister are still crazy enamored with you. \u00a0I literally have to push them off of you on a regular basis. \u00a0They love to get right up in your face. \u00a0Course you just laugh and \u00a0laugh at them. \u00a0It’s a match made in heaven for sure.<\/p>\n

For the record…you are still the happiest baby ever.<\/p>\n
