I mean that very literally. \u00a0How has it already been 5 months?<\/p>\n
Jake had been home with us for about 3 days. \u00a0I told Randy ‘it just feels like he has always been here’. \u00a0Randy didn’t quite agree. \u00a0But I still feel that way. \u00a0He is so little and new, but he just feels like he has always been here. Definitely like he was always meant to be in our family. \u00a0Each day I just fall more and more in love with this sweet boy.<\/p>\n
At 5 months old Jake you are wearing size 3 diapers (you are a bit thick in the waist like your brother).<\/p>\n
You are mainly wearing 6 months clothes, and even some 9 month.<\/p>\n
You are finally starting to feel better. \u00a0We don’t have to do breathing treatments 6-8 times a day anymore. \u00a0We are down to a solid 4. \u00a02 at school and 2 at home. \u00a0Praise the Lord! \u00a0Since you can breathe again you can also sleep again. \u00a0(Double Praise the Lord!)<\/p>\n
You usually come home from school and sleep for a few hours. \u00a0Then you wake up around the time the big kids go to bed and Dad and I get to play with just you for a bit. \u00a0It is a sweet time for all 3 of us and I’m so thankful for it.<\/p>\n
You are eating food like a champ. \u00a0So far I have been a slacker and haven’t made you a bunch of baby food options. \u00a0I promise to get on that very soon. \u00a0You can’t get enough of roasted sweet potatoes (this one is even sweeter because the potatoes are from our garden). \u00a0You are also eating bananas, applesauce, oatmeal and rice cereal. \u00a0You turned your nose up at carrots, but we will try again.<\/p>\n
You weigh almost 16 pounds (I can’t remember the exact weight and length…sorry!!!) \u00a0You are average in both measurements.<\/p>\n
All the stats are out of the way….I just have to say I’m so thankful for you little boy. \u00a0You are such a true joy to me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
