{"id":2912,"date":"2014-10-01T14:45:34","date_gmt":"2014-10-01T14:45:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/?p=2912"},"modified":"2014-10-01T14:45:34","modified_gmt":"2014-10-01T14:45:34","slug":"hello-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/2014\/10\/hello-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Hello Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am afraid to look back and see how long it has been since I have written a blog post. \u00a0Jake, we totally love you as much as the other kids. \u00a0But you are the reason there is no time for nonsense like keeping up with a blog.<\/p>\n<p>Today I am inspired to start back. \u00a0And to start small. \u00a0Part of what makes keeping up with the blog so daunting is that I act like my posts should be professional. \u00a0Or eloquent. \u00a0Or include everything I want to say. \u00a0Well it won&#8217;t. \u00a0Ever. \u00a0Why? \u00a0Because I have a demanding full time position. \u00a0And so does Randy. \u00a0Oh yeah and we have these three children that we adore. \u00a0Those things all take priority.<\/p>\n<p>So why start again? \u00a0Because I miss going back and reading old posts. \u00a0I miss reading my thoughts from 6 months ago. \u00a0I keep trying to become a journal-er (like I keep trying to become a runner. \u00a0That never quite sticks either). \u00a0I love reading back through my journals. \u00a0But I forget that to read back, you have to record in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m trying again. \u00a0And I don&#8217;t care if anyone EVER reads this. \u00a0I want to read it&#8230;someday.<\/p>\n<p>J<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am afraid to look back and see how long it has been since I have written a blog post. \u00a0Jake, we totally love you as much as the other kids. \u00a0But you are the reason there is no time for nonsense like keeping up with a blog.
