First Christmas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2010\/01\/img_6911.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-480\" style=\"margin: 10px\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.randybaldwin.com\/family\/files\/2010\/01\/img_6911-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"img_6911\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>I love Christmas.\u00a0 But Christmas is not Christmas without children.\u00a0 I have felt that for many years and especially since Randy and I have been married.\u00a0 This year Christmas was Christmas again!!<\/p>\n<p>Christmas Eve we went to Victoria to be with the Pribyl family (Randy&#8217;s mom&#8217;s family).\u00a0 They are huge family and I have such a wonderful time with them.\u00a0 It only stinks that we only see them once a year.\u00a0 I wish we could find another time to get together.\u00a0 I love that celebration, but it is a very tough day.\u00a0 We left the house around 8 and didn&#8217;t get home until 8.\u00a0 Lots of driving, but lots of love and fun.\u00a0 After we got home we had to wrap all of our presents (one of the things I had planned to do but then got sick) and &#8216;disassemble&#8217; the toys we bought for Reed.\u00a0 Why do they make those toys SO hard to get out!!??<\/p>\n<p>Christmas morning Randy and I woke up early like a couple of children.\u00a0 We opened our presents to each other (not much after the TV) and then woke Reed up.\u00a0 He opened played with his new toys (a set of whiffle balls that cost about $5 were his favorite) and then I started the coffee and put breakfast in the oven.<\/p>\n<p>My family came over and spent the morning with us.\u00a0 It was a wonderful morning.\u00a0\u00a0We relaxed and enjoyed each other&#8217;s company.<\/p>\n<p>Randy, Reed and I spent the afternoon relaxing and napping and then Randy&#8217;s family came over.\u00a0 More present opening and family time.\u00a0\u00a0All in all it was a fantastic Christmas and I am excited for next year \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>J<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-440 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><dl
