Reed had a VERY eventful 18th<\/sup> month of life.<\/p>\n

Onto the fun stuff!\u00a0 Ever since he had tubes put in his ears<\/a> Reed feels good and is SO much happier.\u00a0 Few things make this child happier than playing in the rain, eating, playing with Kate Pike<\/a>, eating, and having Randy throw him in the air (I will have to take some video of the throwing.\u00a0 It really is SO cute)<\/p>\n

His favorite word is \u2018WOW\u2019.\u00a0 It must be written in all caps because he only knows how to say it with all the enthusiasm he can manage.\u00a0 At the river he probably said it 200 times in a row to his dinner one night.\u00a0 He is going to be a fat kid just like his mommy\u2026he LOVES his food!!\u00a0 There isn\u2019t really anything he won\u2019t eat, it just depends on who else is eating it.\u00a0 He loves to eat off of my plate.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure this is a terrible habit to start, but it encourages him to try new foods.\u00a0 If I can get him to be a more adventurous eater by sharing my food I am happy with it.<\/p>\n

This last week I have been able to watch Reed play with some friends.\u00a0 One of the hardest things about working full time is that I don\u2019t get to watch him play with other children very often.\u00a0 One Wednesday night we had a play date with the Swayze kids<\/a> and I absolutely loved watching him play with other kids.\u00a0 Then at the river I got to watch him play with Kate for 3 days.\u00a0 He is such a people-pleaser.\u00a0 Sometimes he would take something that he knew Kate would want.\u00a0 Then he would hide behind one of us for a moment while Kate got upset that he was playing with her things.\u00a0 Then you should have seen the joy on his face when he would proudly walk over to Kate and hand her what she wanted.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure once we hit the terrible two\u2019s he will act like every other child and not want to share, and hit and throw tantrums.\u00a0 But for now it was so much fun to watch him play with other children and watch what makes him happy.<\/p>\n
