I will admit that I didn’t know the impact or the possible outcome of a “true knot baby”.  Randy posted a link to our birth story on Facebook and one of his friends is a labor and delivery nurse.  After reading about the knot in Reed’s umbilical cord here was her comment: “Thank goodness for the c/s. I always tell the parents of True Knot babies that they are little miracles. That is how babies die in delivery and in-utero. Thank the LORD!!! He is so cute. Congrats.”

Obviously I wasn’t completely informed of what could have happened (which I am thankful for).  Is it wrong that this makes me think he is a very special boy and wonder what he will offer this world??  All I know for sure is that I love him more than I could have ever imagined.  I literally spend hours each day just holding him and looking at him.
