Alison and I had our 25 week check up today. My fantastic OB ordered another sonogram because she said that I didn’t get a good look at Ali’s face during the last one. Dr. Vanover is definitely THE BEST!
Everything looks great and she even let us take a few pictures of her sweet face. It’s hard to see much, but I think she looks a lot like Reed. Her little face has gotten so chubby and cute. It does look like she is going to be a big baby just like her brother. As of today she weighed 2 pounds! The sonographer estimated her due date to be 1/15/11 instead of 1/23/11 just based on her size. We aren’t changing delivery date or her actual due date, it just goes to show she is a big girl.
It really takes me by surprise how fast this pregnancy is going by. As of today I only have 95 days until her delivery date…yikes! Time to get that nursery painted and get some furniture in there. I have another appointment in 3 weeks and then we start the 2 week appointments. I just can’t believe I am already this far into the pregnancy. She will be here before we know it!
Yea! I love that we’re on the same schedule, for now anyway, sounds like you’ll be a week ahead of me going forward. I went today too but mine was super uneventful since I had the ultrasound two weeks ago. I can’t believe she’s already 2 lbs! My guy was 1lb 2oz a couple weeks ago so not sure what he is now but I definitely know I’m getting bigger everyday. I can’t believe how quick it’s all flying by either. I have a feeling the holidays are going to make the end go pretty quick too. Jim is starting to paint tomorrow!
