To Jeff and Patty,

This is a special post that I wanted to write specifically for the two of you. You are likely reading this now that you have found out that we are pregnant, and I can imagine that you’ve started to put the puzzle pieces together and realize that we were actually already pregnant (and knew it) when we went to dinner together last night at The Melting Pot. Yes, had the timing been right, it would have certainly been the best venue to share the great news with both of you. Yes, you are family, but we have not yet told my own family and I owe it to them to know first.

We had a great time and we appreciate the the invite to get together.
